On We Run the World, our four-day trail adventure took us 80 kilometers across Mallorca’s wild and varied terrain. Fifteen runners stepped up to the challenge. We kicked off in Valldemossa, moving through mountain paths, forest trails, and rugged coastal sections all the way to Port de Pollença.
Every day delivered new terrain, new climbs, and new views. After four intense, unforgettable days, we hit our final destination—tired legs, big smiles, and a finish line that felt earned.
We followed the GR221 — the legendary Ruta de Pedra en Sec — straight through the spine of the Serra de Tramuntana. The journey kicked off in Valldemossa, climbing hard toward Fornatlux. Steep, rocky trails hit the legs immediately, but every effort paid off with huge coastal views.
From Fornatlux to Selva, the route pushed us deeper into the mountains. Sharp ascents, fast technical descents, and pure wilderness. Day three took us from Selva to Lluc Monastery, running over ancient cobbled paths between pine forests and limestone ridgelines. The final push into Port de Pollença delivered a rolling, fast descent with the Mediterranean pulling us in.
This was more than a run. It was an endurance test, a mental battle, and a full immersion into Mallorca’s raw beauty. Every kilometer pulled the group tighter, shared effort, shared grit, shared moments on remote ridges and quiet valleys. Pure adventure, hard work, and team spirit. Trail running at its best.
